Ingredients:

  • Silesian dumplings without filling - 1 pkg.
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Pork ribs - 350 g
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Meat seasoning
  • Onion - 1
  • Bay leaves
  • Black pepper

Preparation:

Step 1
Wash and cut the ribs. Brown them in oil for about 10 min. Take frozen dumplings out of the bag and drop them one by one into around 3 liters of lightly salted, boiling water with an added tablespoon of oil. Make sure that the water does not stop boiling.

Step 2
Stir gently so that the gnocchi do not stick to the bottom. After they rise to the surface, cook them for ca. 7-9 min. on low heat. Place the ribs in a saucepan and fry the chopped onion in the remaining fat. Pour 1 cup of water to the ribs, add meat seasoning, pepper, bay leaves and fried onion. Cover and simmer for about 25 minutes.

Step 3
Serving suggestion. Best served with ribs and sauce.
